- Cats: adult neutered 1.2, adult intact 1.4, senior or inactive 1.1, active 1.4, weight loss 0.8, weight gain 1.0
These are general estimate factors for healthy pets and practical starting points for maintenance or body weight change planning.

All results depend on the accuracy of the values entered. Real world calorie needs can vary with age, body condition, breed, activity, reproductive status, environment, medications, and underlying disease. Feeding amount should always be adjusted based on the individual pet's response over time.
